St. Francis Arms
Quartz Countertops & RTA Cabinets for Multifamily Renovation
Project overview & client expectations
Prometheus required a full interior package for St. Francis Arms including quartz kitchen tops, bathroom vanities, and RTA cabinets across multiple occupied buildings. The development demanded minimal disruption, rapid phased deliveries, and consistent finishes across all units.
Procurement manager priorities: phased JIT shipments, unit-wise packaging, minimal resident disruption, finish durability for high-turnover rental markets.
Materials & cabinet systems supplied
• Quartz: high-performance, low-variation white and soft-grain quartz for kitchens and vanities.
• Cabinets: RTA carcass with plywood boxes, moisture-resistant back panels, soft-close hinges, melamine interiors and laminate doors per Prometheus's selected palette.
Fabrication & coordination process
• Cabinet runs were synchronized with countertop batches to ensure matching finish and on-site sequencing.
• Unit-wise labeling and room-level packing lists were used so installers only opened materials for the specific unit in the phase.
QC & field support
• QC included color matching, hinge alignment checks, and countertop flatness verifications.
• We dispatched a dedicated project manager for weekly site meetings and spot QA checks.
Packaging & delivery sequencing
Each cabinet kit and countertop crate included a Unit ID and installation checklist. Deliveries were staged in small lots to minimize storage and logistics burden at the property.
Installation & outcomes
The integrated delivery enabled fast installation cycles — kitchen fit-out from crate-to-complete in 6–8 hours per unit by the contractor crews. Prometheus appreciated the minimal resident disruption and praised the unit-wise packaging model.
